My job as a "Student Technician" was to maintain a set of 30 laptops at each of three middle schools. The laptops and my wages were paid by a grant. The purpose was to see how well the carts of laptops worked in the classroom.

I created an online database to track the status and a record of maintenances performed on each laptop. This served as a detailed accounting of my hours and as a status report for my employer and teachers at the schools. The collected data was used in the final report of the grant.
